Terms & Conditions of Use

1. General Information

  1. CatiGoal Tournament Management ("the Software") is an online web application that allows users to create, plan, schedule, and evaluate sports tournaments and publish results.
  2. The Software is provided by Marco Dankel ("the Provider"), located in 39106 Magdeburg, Germany.
  3. These Terms & Conditions of Use ("T&C") govern the use of the Software. By creating an account and using the Software, the user agrees to these T&C.

2. Free Use & Donations

  1. The Software is free to use. Users can create an account and access the services without charge.
  2. Users may voluntarily donate to support the development and maintenance of the Software. Donations do not entitle users to additional rights, guarantees, or priority support.

3. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

  1. The Software is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without warranties of any kind.
  2. The Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Software and is not liable for service downtimes, errors, or failures.
  3. The Provider is not responsible for incorrect, missing, or delayed tournament data. Users acknowledge that tournament results and scheduling are provided at their own risk.
  4. Users shall not hold the Provider liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including financial losses, missed events, or reputational damage caused by incorrect or unavailable data.
  5. The Provider reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or limit access to the Software at any time without notice.

4. User Responsibilities

  1. Users agree to use the Software lawfully and ethically.
  2. Users are responsible for any tournament data they input and must ensure that they have the necessary rights to publish any content.
  3. Misuse of the Software (e.g., fraudulent activity, hacking, or data tampering) will result in account suspension or deletion.

5. Data Protection & Privacy

  1. The Provider collects and processes personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  3. The Provider does not sell or share personal data with third parties, except where legally required.

6. Intellectual Property

  1. The Software and all related materials (design, logos, source code) are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
  2. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the Software without explicit permission.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  1. These T&C are governed by the laws of Germany.
  2. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these T&C shall be resolved in the courts of Magdeburg, Germany.

8. Amendments & Contact

  1. The Provider reserves the right to update these T&C at any time. Continued use of the Software constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
